What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Always responsible to greet, acknowledge and accompany customers.
  • Coordinates and assists in picking up and delivering vehicles as needed to accommodate business/customer needs.
  • Handles pickup and delivery of used inventory from recon center. vehicles.
  • Manages the scheduling of the Service Porter team.
  • Assist the Service Manager(s) in hiring, training, development, and supervision of the porter team.
  • Responsible for the initial check-in of new vehicle inventory deliveries from the manufacturer, following the company’s check-in process.
  • Coordinates and assists in shuttling customers to home, work, or other requested locations as needed.
  • Coordinates and assists in parking and moving vehicles/equipment to maintain lot order as directed by management.
  • Helps to clean shop and service area and maintain cleanliness of customer areas.
  • Performs general cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed as outlined in the SOP.
  • Coordinates and assists in cleaning and maintaining the washroom/bay throughout the day. Cleans and stocks at the end of shift.
  • Ensures porter team and self follows all company safety policies and procedures and immediately reports all accidents to a manager.
  • Supports service team with various administrative duties such as scanning, filing, etc., as needed.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
 

What you bring to the team?

  •  High school degree or equivalent required. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a service shop is required.
  • 1-3 years of supervisor experience is preferred.
  • 1+ years of automotive or detail experience is preferred.
