What You’ll Do

As an Automotive Technician at Truck City, you’ll use your technical expertise and attention to detail to perform fast, accurate, and high-quality diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models — light and medium duty. You’ll be part of a strong, supportive team that takes pride in doing things right the first time.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer and company standards.
Perform test drives and utilize modern diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
Communicate clearly with service advisors and, when needed, customers about repair needs and timelines.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups, and inspections.
Inspect and service key components (hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, etc.) for safety and performance.
Complete accurate documentation and repair notes in the DMS.
Stay up to date through ongoing technical education and ASE certification.
Support team goals and assist with other shop duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical school preferred.
ASE certification required.
3+ years of automotive technician experience (light, medium, or heavy-duty).
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with attention to detail.
