What Would You Do? The right candidate will be responsible for assisting service advisors with customer requests for oil changes and general maintenance work. This position assists service advisors in writing up work orders, keeping customers informed, maintaining records, and closing RO’s & collecting payment. They are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.

What will you be responsible for?

• Ensures that all service-related documents are accounted for and obtains accurate customer and vehicle data.
• Provides exceptional customer service by greeting customers promptly, answering questions about service outcomes, and providing solutions to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Schedules appointments using dealership-approved forms/software.
• Communicates with customers to determine the nature of the service they need (oil change, flat repair, alignment, etc.) while advising customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings.
• Calls customers to inform them of service changes, to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up, or to give them progress updates if service is not complete.
• Properly and thoroughly processes payments and all accompanying paperwork.
• Greets, welcomes, and directs customers entering the dealership
• Ensures an optimal rental experience by maximizing on sales and service opportunities with every customer by providing a professional, prompt, and friendly customer service in all customer contact situations, including when answering telephone calls, emails and during face-to-face interactions.
• Reviews rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates and service charges & prepares all rental and return documents accurately and completely.

Do you have the necessary education and experience?

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
