Who Are We? We are a non-profit organization that is committed to helping families in the Greeley community with childcare. We are an employee based childcare center for Yoder Family of Companies and we also support childcare needs for first responders of the City of Greeley, and church members of Journey Christian Church.

What Would You Do?  The right candidate will have a hands-on, full-time position with daily responsibilities focused on providing attentive care and guidance to a group of 10 infants. The role involves overseeing and nurturing the infant classroom while also providing training and onboarding support to infant/toddler teachers.  This role is a trusted partner for the Director and Assistant Director and is responsible for conveying support and guidance to peers, reporting any issues to management, and assisting in a leadership backup capacity if needed. 

What will you be responsible for

Nursery Management

  • Creates and maintains an infant classroom where infants feel safe, loved, and ready to explore the world around them.
  • Implements age-appropriate curriculum and guides infants through enjoyable activities that promote their development and learning.
  • Creates and adheres to weekly lesson plans designed specifically for the infants' developmental needs.
  • Ensures a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care and development for all children in the infant classroom.
  • Trains all new educators on the licensing rules and regulations with the duties of infant/toddler classroom. Trains new staff on center policies, curriculums, and forms.
Parental Partner Relations
  • Builds strong partnerships and connections with parents, establishing positive relationships to ensure the best possible care for their infants.
  • Ensures strict compliance with childcare state licensing regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
  • Labels bottles and follows proper feeding routines for each child, ensuring individualized care.
  • Adheres to Safe Sleep policies at all times to ensure infants' well-being during nap times.
Administrative
  • Manages the classroom schedule and routine based on the unique needs of each infant, fostering a structured and nurturing environment.
  • Proactively maintains all necessary details related to children’s portfolios.
  • Completes all required daily forms, including child tracking sheets, attendance records, and incident/accident reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Maintains a safe, organized, and clean environment at all times, promoting a hygienic and stimulating space for infant development.
  • Assist with managing the classroom app (Tadpoles), including taking pictures and other daily reports of naps, diaper changes, meals, and other activities.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Do you have the necessary education and experience?

  • Associate degree in early childhood education or equivalent is required.
  • PDIS credential level 2 or higher or in the process of completing certification requirements.
  • Must meet additional state requirements for INS qualification, including EQIT or taken ECE 111 infant and toddler practices.
  • 2+ years of experience working with infants is required.
