What Would You Do? The DriveWise Sales Associate is directly responsible for assisting customers through the sales process, while adhering to customer satisfaction standards. They keep a complete and accurate record of customer contacts, transactions, and files and strive to ensure that the floor and lot are properly maintained and convey a professional appearance. This position is responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization

What will you be responsible for?

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Assist customers with locating online applications.
• Facilitate communication between customers and warranty companies or repair shops.
• Greet all customers upon arrival, following the established greeting script.
• Guide customers to the appropriate department or personnel.
• Assist customers with loan and sales processes:
  • Complete credit applications and gather required documentation.
  • Help customers select vehicles that align with lender approvals.
  • Present sales proposals clearly and professionally.
  • Guide customers through closing processes, including video instructions and payment options.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery, including washing, removing stickers, and applying temporary tags.
  • Follow scheduled procedures for post-sale customer follow-up.

• Maintain cleanliness of the sales lot, keeping it free of debris.
• Ensure vehicles are organized and presentable.
• Perform seasonal maintenance, including snow removal from vehicles and walkways, and applying salt as needed.
• Update government compliance stickers and forms as needed.
• Set up and remove marketing props and materials at the start and end of the day.
• Keep desks, chairs, and counters clean and disinfected.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas throughout the day.

Do you have the necessary education and experience?

• High school degree or equivalent required, associates or bachelor’s in business or related field is preferred.
• 1 plus years of previous sales or customer service experience is required.
• 1-3 years’ previous automotive sales experience preferred.
