What would you do? The Parts Manager coordinates the flow of parts for the collision center. This position is responsible for assisting employees with locating the appropriate part, organizing parts inventory, handling ordering and returns. They are responsible for helping with shop organization and cleanliness, and assist other positions as needed to assure the best possible experience for our customers.. This position is responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the organization's mission and values.
What will you be responsible for?
- Mirror matches all parts for accuracy.
- Assists in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, and assists in selecting and ordering parts as necessary.
- Verify "will call" and "back-order" files.
- Participates in physical inventories.
- Assist in shop organization and clean up.
- Assists as needed in production and detail.
- Maintains all parts-related documentation.
- Informs techs of availability of parts and updates of progress when not on time.
- Properly and completely processes payments and all accompanying paperwork..
- Consults with team about necessary repairs and possible alternatives.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Do you have the necessary education and experience?
- High school degree or equivalent
- Automotive trade or technical school preferred.
- 1 + year of experience in Auto Collision Parts role required.
- 3+ plus years of progressive experience in auto parts service preferred.
