At Weld County Garage, we’re looking for a Used Car Manager who can take ownership of inventory from acquisition to sale—driving turn, controlling recon, and maximizing profitability every step of the way.

This isn’t a sit-back role. This is for someone who wants to run the business inside the business.

 What You’ll Own

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of used inventory—and the performance that comes with it.

 Inventory & Recon

  • Own the recon process from arrival → frontline-ready
  • Control recon costs without sacrificing quality
  • Partner with service and vendors to keep inventory moving

 Pricing & Merchandising

  • Execute pricing strategy based on market data and aging
  • Ensure every unit is:
    • Priced right
    • Online fast
    • Presented well on the lot
  • Maintain strong digital presence (photos, listings, accuracy)

 Sales Leadership

  • Desk deals and actively support the sales floor
  • Partner with leadership to drive used car performance
  • Coach and develop sales consultants
  • Lead from the front—help close deals when needed

 Inventory Performance

  • Manage key metrics:
    • Turn 
    • Inventory turn 
    • Gross per unit
  • Identify and act quickly on aging inventory

🧠 What You Bring

  • 5+ years of used car management, pricing, or purchasing experience
  • Strong understanding of inventory turn, recon, and market-based pricing
  • Ability to move fast and make decisions with confidence
  • Experience leading teams and driving accountability
  • Strong operational mindset with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation Range: $100K–$180K+
